Arijiju

A Private Sanctuary

Arijiju is a luxury, private exclusive-use retreat. Perfect for hosting family and friends and combining a wildlife adventure with relaxation and wellness.

Blending discreetly into the landscape, Arijiju's design is inspired by Ethiopian monasteries, using both local raw stone and timber. This is complemented by the vast arched windows that create an abundance of natural light. Each of the five suites boasts an equatorial light sunrise view.

Tucked into the forest hillside within the true wilderness of Laikipa, Arijiju is virtually invisible – how it was designed. You will be far from the crows of the other safari spots. Arijiju works in harmony with the reserve in every way, and ensure the tourism funds gets put back into long term conservation and the local community.

Dining

Nourishment is at the center of the Arijiju’s philosophy. Start your day out in the bush, sipping local Kenyan coffee with a warm frittata. All dishes are organic, healthy and farm-reared by the in-house chef using local ingredients often from their own kitchen garden, meaning little to no food miles in your delicious farm to table cuisine.
