Job Overview

We are on the search for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our operations team. The role predominantly handles all post-booking matters and will liaise directly with clients, suppliers and the sales team. The operations team plays a vital part in the administration and smooth running of the business. The core focus of the team is to deal with all post-booking administration and queries, to ensure accuracy of bookings and provide our clients with a high level of customer service throughout their booking process. You must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be highly organised and self-motivated.

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 (pro rata)

Job Title: Operations Assistant

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Creating client itineraries
  • Checking that supplier invoices match booking details
  • Processing invoices from suppliers within required timeframe
  • Dealing with changes to bookings and updating all systems
  • Responding to client and supplier queries via telephone and email in a timely manner
  • Booking of client flights and post-booking revisions
  • Ensuring all documentation is created and delivered with a high level of accuracy and on time
  • Liaising with external suppliers by email and phone
  • Prioritising workload on a daily basis to ensure deadlines are met
  • Closely liaising with the Destination Specialist to ensure the relationship built between them and the client is maintained

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working in a customer service and/or administration-based role
  • Attention to detail and excellent grammar and spelling
  • Confident, concise and clear telephone manner
  • Competent computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Able to work on own initiative and take ownership for completing tasks
  • Good organisation and numerical skills
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task
  • Travel experience and a passion for wildlife
