Lodge Details

Style

Origins is spacious and luxurious with expansive views out over the mountains and jungle. Tranquillity is the goal here, and rooms are modern, bright and extremely comfortable.

Setting

The lodge is located high on a mountainside in the region of Tenorio Volcano and Rio Celeste with views over the valley below. Should you not want to drive into the mountains, there is a heliport available for private helicopter flights into the lodge. Origins accommodation is made up of seven private lodges each sleeping just two people, boasting handcrafted canopy beds, a 180° view and a private heated terrace bath with views over the estate.

The lodge is also home to the Villa Vertigo, suspended amongst the treetops, sleeping 6 people in three luxury en-suite bedrooms, with a kitchen and large living area, an outdoor heated Jacuzzi, and expansive views.

Dining

The El Salto restaurant is home to creations from Jean-Luc L’Hourre, a Michelin-starred chef. With a light menu, a-la-carte and seven course Discovery Menu available, those with a taste for fine dining will certainly not be disappointed here. Origins Lodge also has a large wine cellar and the Skyview Lounge for relaxing into the evening as the sun sets.

Activities

Explore the surrounding area with a naturalist guide while enjoying the grounds in between excursions. Rappel into a nearby cavern, explore the turquoise waters of Rio Celeste and enjoy a wildlife night walk to explore the forest. There are also options to join the chef for a morning walk to learn about the menu, enjoy an outdoor massage, spend a little time fishing in the lagoon, or explore the trails on horseback.

Child Policy

We strongly recommend the lodge for adults only, however in certain cases children over 12 are welcomed. Please ask for details.
