Islas Secas is an intrepid eco-destination that is devoted to its natural surroundings that inspire its style.

Islas Secas is an archipelago of 14 islands located 20 miles off Panama’s rugged Pacific coast, waiting to be explored. Seven hundred and fifty species of fish, 50 bird species and 128 species of plants, and just over an hour boat ride from Coiba National Marine Park, a UNESCO-designated protected marine area, this area is home to the second largest coral reef system in the Eastern Tropical Pacific.

Tucked away in a tranquil corner of the Islas Secas archipelago, this small, secluded resort with seven casitas accommodating up to 24 guests, and countless reefs, glassy bays and tree-swathed hills to explore – is the ultimate sustainable playground. There are three tented casitas (one bedroom each, a casita mirador (one bedroom), a casita tres palmas (two bedroom), a casita sombras (two bedroom), and a casita grande (four bedroom). There is a Terraza in the heart of Islas Secas and a place to relax over drinks and to share meals along with tales of the day’s adventures. There is a beautiful infinity pool and sun terrace offering incredible views of the Gulf of Chiriquí. There is a spa with two wellness tents complete with swing seats and soaking baths in a secluded jungle setting.

The cooking team serves creative fresh local and international menus sourced by local farms, and uses organic ingredients in 90% of the dishes in the two restaurants. Dining in settings as memorable as the cuisine.

Islas Secas is host to over 50 species of resident and migratory birds. Wander along two miles of trails with a naturalist guide. Guests will find beautiful rare flowers and plants, colorful birdlife and scurrying iguanas – an opportunity to reconnect with nature. Discover a secluded beach: the adventure staff will transport you with a sumptuous picnic, cooler, lounge chair, umbrella - and a two-way radio, so that you can stay as long as you like.

At Islas Secas, mind and body are energized by nature on our secluded, private islands. The wellness tents offer complete immersion in the jungle. From their secret-garden setting, surrounded by gnarled, over-draped trees, to the island-sourced products in our spa treatments, breathe deep and enjoy the elements. Morning yoga sessions are available in outdoor locations.

There is a watersports centre offering a full range of land and water-based adventures and excursions including diving. Explore the big blue of this remote, pristine archipelago, through bespoke marine safaris, high-octane e-foiling, Pacific Ocean surfing, scuba diving with manta rays, whale-watching trips in season... or simply by drifting gently with a mask and snorkel over the kaleidoscopic reefs.
