Sabi Sabi Selati Camp is an incredible experience where you will stay within the Sabi Reserve itself overlooking the magnificent Msuthlu River. The camp truly tells a magnificent story of the local history including the steam railway line which was used to transport gold found in the reserve.

Romantically set within the grounds of the Sabi Sabi Reserve, on the banks of the Msuthlu River.

Accommodation & Facilities

The Selati Camp is comprised of eight thatched suites all of which have their own en-suite bathroom. The furnishings throughout the suites and the main building of the camp are solid, dark woods from the poster beds to the bedside tables and lounge areas. There are both indoor and outdoor showers in each of the suites and the Ivory Presidential Suite even comes with its own private plunge pool.

Dining

During your stay at Selati Camp all of your meals are included; the freshly made dishes are comprised from locally sourced ingredients including fruits, vegetables and meats. Meal times can be flexible around your plans for the day and lunches can be prepared in advance if you wish to spend your entire day exploring the unfenced reserve. Dinners often take place around the boma or on the private decks overlooking the river; ideal settings for a sundowner and to share your adventures with your fellow guests.

Activities

The main focus at the Selati Camp is upon exploring the Sabi Reserve for its fascinating flora and fauna. You will be able to venture out both during the day and at night to spot some magnificent wildlife in the camps’ open top land rovers. You will also have the opportunity to embark upon guided nature walks accompanied by your knowledgeable guide.
