A Bit About Me
I grew up with parents working for British Airways which meant I was exposed to exotic far flung places from a young age (and hugely grateful for it!). Then as soon as I was old enough I set off on my own with a backpack and an inherent passion for adventure and nature. I spent my late teens and 20’s travelling and working around South East Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Brazil. Then settled in Thailand for a good 6 years working for a non-profit organisation specialising in running volunteer projects.
As Thailand project manager during this time I helped with the construction of two bridges, a community hall, a hill tribe museum, a nursery school, a school library, an orphanage dormitory, and many, many toilet blocks! As well as researching and setting up social and conservation projects in South Africa and Ghana. Eventually British pubs and the British sense of humour brought me back to blighty, where I now spend my time working for NWS in sunny Brighton.
I specialise in selling trips to Borneo, India, Svalbard, Arctic Canada and British Columbia, and love talking about anything bear or jungle related! Bears are simply the best creatures on the planet and I’ll happily convince anyone of the same!
