Travelling through Zimbabwe in a blue VW campervan. I distinctly remember the mica sparkling like diamonds in the granite gravel roads, the staggering size of baobabs, and being enthralled by Great Zimbabwe. At age 8 the comical antics of troops of baboons was far more interesting and entertaining than lazy lions lolling.
