La Selva Biological Reserve

about La Selva Biological Reserve

The La Selva Biological Reserve was founded in 1963, originally for the purpose of researching the incredible ecosystem in place. As a direct result of this pioneering research the area is now a world renowned UNESCO protected World Heritage Site- the first of its kind in Costa Rica.

The multilingual guides will run a range of nature walks, science activities, river boat tours as well as a number of lectures.

This fully functioning biological reserve is a fantastic place in which you will gain in-depth knowledge concerning the rainforest.
