Talk to one of our specialists for further details on our swimming with killer whales safaris in Norway.
Join us for a small group safari swimming alongside orcas and humpbacks whales in the Arctic waters off the Norwegian coast. Under the Arctic skies, you'll also have a chance to see the magical Northern Lights. With only 4 guests on the safari, you will be one of the very few people in the world who will get this close to the orcas in the wild. This trip will not follow an exact itinerary, but will instead be at the whim of the whales, who migrate here in the winter to feed on vast stocks of herring.
Based in Skjervoy, northern Norway, each day we will head out on our private boat in search of two of the sea's most recognisable residents: the orca, or killer whale, and the humpback whale. Your guide will be NWS specialist leader Joshua Barton who has travelled the globe in search of the largest creatures on the planet. Josh is an experienced underwater wildlife photographer who has crisscrossed the planet searching for unique moments to capture on camera. His work has featured worldwide in publications like National Geographic, the Washington Post and International Wildlife. Joshua’s clients from Natural World Safaris were the first non-professional photographers to capture transient orcas off the coast of Sri Lanka.
