This trip is well suited to families with older children or groups of friends travelling together - you’ll have Jackson and the mobile camp all to yourself. The camp moves location depending on animal migration patterns, ensuring you’re in the right place at the right time for the best animal viewings. You’ll be remote giving you a true African wilderness experience but still able to enjoy modern facilities as the mobile camp does not overlook the element of luxury. Day by day

Day 1

Arrive - Olare Orok

Upon arrival into Nairobi International Airport, you will be met by your private professional driver/guide and private 4x4 vehicle and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch your scheduled flight to the Ol Kiombo airstrip in the Masai Mara National Reserve. From here, you will be met and transferred to your lodge in the game rich Olare Orok Conservancy. Following your arrival, you will have time to relax before heading out on your first game drive this afternoon.

Days 2-3

Olare Orok Conservancy

Your days are spent experiencing the magic of the Olare Orok Conservancy with your professional driver/guide and 4x4 vehicle. A variety of game can be seen in this region with some huge herds of wildebeest and zebra passing through in migration season; this results in stable numbers of predators throughout the year so you should be in for some good game viewing. Huge hippos and large crocodiles can be found lazing around in the waters of the Mara River if you venture south. Here, you can explore the wilderness and the rolling hills on your own terms, in the company of your personal Masai guide. Cultural visits to the nearby Masai communities just outside the Conservancy as well as bush breakfasts, bush picnics and sundowners with a view can also be arranged as well as hot air balloon safaris (needs to be pre-booked in advance at an additional cost).

Day 4

Olare Orok - Masai Mara

After your morning game activity you will be driven to your camp in the Mara Reserve. Upon arrival and time permitting, enjoy an afternoon game drive. In the evening, relax at your camp. This is an extremely intimate and specialised camp; it is run by Jackson Looseyia who also doubles as your very own private guide. Jackson Looseyia is a Masai guide who has been recognised as one of the top ten guides of the world. In your time here there may also be an opportunity to visit a local Masai village and take part in helping their community.

Days 5-7

Masai Mara Reserve

You will have three full days to enjoy morning and afternoon game drives within the reserve as well as relaxing evenings back at camp.

Day 8

Depart Masai Mara

After breakfast, you are transferred back to the airstrip, game driving en-route. From here, you catch your internal flight back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be taken to a local restaurant for dinner (payable direct to the restaurant), after which you will be met and transferred to the International Airport for your flight home.
