Starting off in Zimbabwe, you will witness the spectacular Victoria Falls and have the opportunity to enjoy adventurous activities such as white water rafting and helicopter rides, before heading to the Selinda Concession in Botswana for unbeatable wildlife encounters. In addition to spotting the ‘big five’ on game drives, you will also learn survival skills and track wildlife on foot across the African bush, before spending your evenings telling stories around the campfire.

Day by day

Day 1

Arrive Victoria Falls

Today you will arrive into Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe, where you will be met and transferred to your lodge overlooking the plains of Zambezi National Park. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax after your flight and settle into your accommodation.

Days 2-4

Victoria Falls

Spend the next few days exploring the breathtaking Victoria Falls. You will have the opportunity to choose from a number of adventurous activities during your time at the Falls; from white water rafting, horse riding or canoeing to a game drive in Zambezi National Park or a scenic helicopter flight. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise down the Zambezi river, looking out for a variety of wildlife including hippo, crocodile and elephant.

Day 5

Victoria Falls - Selinda Concession

This morning you will depart your lodge and be transferred to Kasane Airport for your flight to Selinda. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp in the Selinda Concession, Botswana. After lunch, head out on an introductory game drive or walk in search of wildlife tracks, before returning to camp to gather around the campfire with hot cocoa and marshmallows, as your guide tells you some African bush legends.

Day 6

Selinda Concession

Rise early this morning and journey into the reserve by boat, jeep or on foot in search of game. Today you will also take part in a survival skills course with your guide, learning how to make a fire and traditional bows and arrows, and head out onto the river for a lesson in Bayei fishing. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and a movie at the camps 'bush theatre'.

Day 7

Selinda Concession

Another early start as you head out on a morning game drive, when the wildlife is at its most active, and put your tracking skills to the test as you attempt to track wildlife on foot. Embark on your final game drive in the afternoon, before enjoying a bush dinner around the campfire.

Day 8

Depart Selinda

Today you will say goodbye to your camp and guides, as you return to the Selinda Airstrip for your flight to Maun, where you will catch your international flight home.
