Stay at Kenya's only Relais & Chateaux member properties in two of Africa's iconic landscapes. The Chyulu Hills give way to wide-open plains, and mighty Mount Kilimanjaro towers on the horizon. At Ol Donyo Lodge take up the 'dodging the dogs' challenge (training the anti-poaching dog unit by letting them chase you!), ride on horseback, or mountain bike amongst giraffe and zebra. Then fly to the Masai Mara for big cat encounters. Based at Mara Plains look forward to superb guiding, full on wildlife encounters, walks and night drives and the use of a top spec camera for the duration of your stay.
This is a fantastic combination safari with luxury lodges and excellent wildlife encounters.
Great Plains Conservation strives to conserve African landscapes in order to protect habitats and the wildlife that resides there. They work to select key areas for protection and use responsible tourism safaris to support their conservation efforts. Great Plains Foundation works alongside this to rehabilitate and, in the long run, save certain species.
At this time the main focus of their efforts are lions, rhinos and elephants and this safari allows you to encounter these species while knowing you are contributing to their protection.
