Harriet was fantastic to work with in putting together our dream trip. She turned around an incredibly quick and extraordinarily competitive itinerary for us when we had been let down elsewhere and managed all of our queries quickly and calmly. She was a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful. This trip was a ten out of ten. We felt incredibly well looked after and utterly immersed in everything we saw. Fabulous local guides and naturalists at every turn ensured we took so much knowledge and appreciation home with us along with brilliant memories. The perfect introduction to this beautiful country. Did I mention we saw a tiger? We'd love to travel again with such brilliant destination information and on-the-ground teams combined with a competitively and sensibly priced approach.

My experiences far exceeded my expectations. The staff of the MV Kinfish were the heart and soul of the trip. The meals were exceptional and well thought out. The guides were world-class. They brought knowledge and experience that proved to be superior to all the other tours in the area. They treated you like family and ensured every person had a good experience. I would definitely book again. That week was the highlight of my life.

Overall the trip was great, especially Tswalu. We'd love to travel again - NWS does a superior job organising and detailing our trips and the logistics required. I highly value their expertise and knowledge of adventure travel locations.

Gemma, Becca, and Chloe were outstanding. We were thoroughly prepared and ready to go for this spectacular trip. Gemma was just a joy to be around since she joined us on this trip. Overall, it was a great trip, we got to swim with the sperm whales and even short-fin pilot whales. I have travelled extensively throughout the world for wildlife/nature adventures over the past two decades and browsing through NWS' catalog and website, you just offer unique opportunities not found anywhere else.

Our destination team were extraordinary, and I had a great experience with good communication, prompt responses and a very well organised booking process. This trip was a 10/10 and I don't know how to put into words the amazing experience we had in Africa. I spent my entire adult life dreaming of going to Africa and had feared that I had hyped it up so much in my head that the reality could be a disappointment. However, Africa and my experiences there DID NOT disappoint! This trip exceeded all of my expectations and it was a dream come true. The customer service was the best I've ever seen!

Every time I travel with NWS my trip goes without a hitch. The lodges were perfect, the animal sightings were perfect, and the trip was top-notch. I love everything about this trip and cannot wait to travel with NWS again. The specialists are incredibly knowledgeable and create an itinerary based on your likes and wants. The highlight of our trip was having our local Malagasy guide! He was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife and landscapes as well as providing a fabulous insight into Malagasy life. My dietary requirements were perfectly handled so it was never stressful, and I always had great meals!

Our destination specialist was wonderful! She was so helpful and really listened to what we were looking for and within our budget. We would love to travel again! The guidance was fantastic!

This trip was a 10/10! We had a fabulous guide and a very experienced boat driver! The trip was even better than advertised, we were told the average number of jaguars seen is 2 a day however we spotted 17 in only 3 1/2 days! We also saw a giant anteater, a tapir, several pods of giant sea otters, two anacondas and over 100 species of bird - 93 which were new to me. I can unequivocally state that this place is truly wild, one of only 3 places I've been where I can say that. This was a wonderful experience and I'm so grateful my wife and I had the chance to go.

This was a 10/10 trip! The accommodation was the best ever, an amazing lodge! We were really well supported by all involved in our trip and we never had any issues.

David was excellent and was very professional and courteous to communicate with. My trip to Madagascar was wonderful and easily a 10/10 experience. I enjoyed the landscapes and wildlife and our guide Toky went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip - he even included extra night walks that weren't included in the itinerary. NWS is clearly committed to delivering quality trips with excellent guides and accommodations to beautiful destinations in the world.

This is my third trip with NWS, their knowledge is unrivalled. I knew the Republic of Congo had western lowland gorillas, but hadn't considered booking a trip there until David recommended it. It was clear from the outset that David had travelled there numerous times and was truly passionate about this country. This passion and enthusiasm resulted in me booking this trip, which was a once in a lifetime experience. I have been on numerous safaris but none of them compare to this! You can tell that the animals are not used to seeing tourists all the time, which made this trip all the more unique. The staff at the lodges could not do more to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and our guide Kerri, made sure we saw as much as possible! I can't wait to go back!

This was the most stress-free trip I have ever planned thanks to the team's remarkable service! This trip exceeded even the highest of expectations. First and foremost, we had two incredible expedition leaders: Hadleigh and Mats made the trip enjoyable and educational with stories accumulated over decades of experience. Their hours and hours of dedicated scouting from behind binoculars paid off with great wildlife sightings. A particular highlight for me was sitting in a scree below a massive nesting sight of little auks, watching thousands of them take off at once and fly over us. It was a magical moment that I will probably never experience again, and I am very grateful to Hadleigh for taking us to this specific spot. We also have to give a shoutout to the wonderful crew of the MS Polarfront - every single member of the crew made our trip an absolute joy, with smiles and laughter all day long (and the midnight sun ensured that the days were long!). Engui is a master chef and we felt like we were at a top French restaurant every meal, every day. The whole experience with NWS was flawless and stress free - all flights, hotels, transfers, were taken care of and we had detailed information in our app at all times. It was truly unforgettable - thank you NWS! As nature and wildlife lovers, we are always looking for travel opportunities to wild places. After this experience we are convinced that NWS is the expedition specialist to work with for more exclusive, difficult to reach areas of the world.

The guides and Kinfish crew made the trip perfect as much as the wildlife sightings we had. The Kinfish is so unique and the crew are very special which makes this trip stand out miles above other trips. We had such amazing, interesting and down to earth wildlife guides who went above and beyond for everyone. The bespoke combination of exclusivity and uniqueness of this is what makes the trip really stand out from the rest. The access to the wildlife is second to none and you do really feel like you are having the same access as the professional documentary makers receive.

A 10/10 trip! This was my second trip with NWS and the ship, guides and crew were excellent! I really like the expertise that they have about the trips I've taken, they are able to provide advice and help me plan the type of safari that I'm looking for.

The level of service was incredible, it felt very personal and like communicating with a friend. The accommodation was superb with top notch service. This was a wonderful family trip and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The trips are superbly tailored to requirements! Thank you NWS for organising this special time for us.

We saw so many lemurs as mentioned in the itinerary and lots of other wildlife including chameleons! The tour was very well organised and we were treated with great accommodation. We felt safe and sure we were getting the best experience available in each location.

The trip was organised very efficiently by Gemma, Alice and Chloe. It was really useful to be able to discuss small details with someone who had actually been to the destination! The trip was absolutely outstanding. The Polarfront was a superb ship in which to travel, with a really friendly and welcoming crew, superb food and very comfortable accommodation. Hadleigh and Mats are simply outstanding leaders/guides who ensured we had the most incredible wildlife experiences. The highlight of the trip was of course the 11 polar bears we saw but it was the quality of the sightings which our leaders provided that was so impressive - intimate time with a mother and cub showing their affection for each other, a mother with two cubs hunting a seal and a large male in a standoff with a group of walruses will never be forgotten. However, the other wildlife experiences were equally impressive, including an Arctic fox that curled up for a snooze only yards from us, a pod of at least 50 belugas that accompanied us for an hour on our first evening, the stunning ivory gulls which were my main avian target and which Mats and Hadleigh were so keen to make sure I saw and, on the last afternoon, a blue whale - another lifetime ambition fulfilled! Words are really insufficient to express what a fantastic experience this was - I have had many amazing wildlife experiences but this was among the very best.

We had a blast vacation romancing the Arctic. Thank you for a comprehensive well-planned trip: sightings, guides and experts, the ship, everything was good!

Our ship, the Polarfront, was lovely - the staterooms are larger than expected with lots of storage. Hadleigh was fantastic and spent lots of time on the ship with the guests making us feel welcome and having fun during downtime.

Our time in Svalbard was amazing! The trip was really properly tailored with great food, tours on Zodiacs, talks - everything was perfect!

Our destination specialist was an excellent communicator, prompt in responding to queries or requests for information. We were thrilled to have spotted polar bears, walrus and other Arctic wildlife! The guidance team was excellent, so was the Meet-and-Greet team. Accommodation and food on the Polar Pioneer was excellent, catering for almost every taste.

Gemma was a paragon of patience whilst helping us book our trip! Not sure how she did it, but getting us a cabin on the Polar Pioneer was FANTASTIC! Could not have been happier. We'd love to travel again, especially with such a professional organisation.

Our destination specialist, Gemma, was terrific! Gemma - and her colleague Chloe - were always quick to respond to our inquiries and provided very helpful information. We are very grateful they alerted the Polarfront crew (especially chef) to our need for a gluten-free diet. We didn't know what "muck boots" were and Gemma helped us figure out how to equip ourselves. Ten stars for Gemma! We had a great trip! Our guides, Hadleigh Measham and Mats Forsberg were phenomenal guides. They figured out the best daily plans given the weather and then the outlook for wildlife sightings. They said we were very lucky to have seen so many polar bears and cubs, plus great interactions with walruses and polar bears. But we know it was more than luck. They knew where to go to maximize wildlife viewings. They also kept us safe from polar bears. We also appreciated their knowledge when we visited historical sites. The NWS app is great! Kudos also to the terrific Polarfront team. The food was innovative, delicious, and tantalizing at all meals. Chief Stewart, Lydia, was so welcoming and helpful. The Captain was informative and friendly. The whole crew took on the immense challenge of anchor problems with an amazing team effort that was amazing to watch. Just a great job by everyone which made for a fabulous trip! We really appreciated the organization and attention to details of the NWS team. The App is great. Each member - from Gemma and Chloe to everyone on the Polarfront - was top-notch. A really impressive group all around.

We had some wonderful and experienced guides! The ship's cabin, crew and food were superb. We'd love to travel again perhaps to East Greenland, gorillas in Rwanda or Uganda, Brazilian Pantanals!

This was a very well organised trip, our guide was brilliant and the boatman was excellent. We saw so much wonderful wildlife especially jaguars! This was a first-class trip. We'd love to travel again, everything was very well organised and we had some amazing guides.

I am very grateful to have worked with my destination specialist, David. I feel his hands-on experience in Rwanda and his enthusiasm for the country contributed greatly to the success of our trip. David was always available to answer questions and discuss details. I can’t say enough good things about all aspects of our trip. Rwanda is a magical country and because of David and NWS, I felt like I experienced the best of the best. I would love to travel again, I applaud the intimate knowledge of the countries NWS go to. Personalised itineraries with all aspects of the trip are taken into account, making it a very organised and efficient process.

Tristan was very responsive and was great at dealing with all the internal flight changes required by the airlines. He made good recommendations and was knowledgeable about the trip. I loved the NWS app, especially the fact that it’s available offline since connectivity is spotty on these types of trips. The guides were very good and spoke good English. NWS put together a well-organised itinerary, were flexible in their customisation options and offered reasonable prices.

We visited several different areas, all were slightly different and offered a different experience. The two places we stayed on the Kinabatangan offered something different - watching and an orangutan build his nest was a highlight at KWR and we saw an elephant swimming across the river at Sukau. Deramakot Forest was also a highlight due to our guide's knowledge and passion for the area. Choosing the right travel company is super important and we felt we had done well in this regard. Conservation and tourism is a tricky balance and I think NWS considers this and it is vital to me to spend my holiday budget as wisely as I can in support of conservation. The quality of the guides can make all the difference and NWS did very well for us. We had a busy schedule and it all went like clockwork which makes these trips much less stressful. Budget allowing, I would love to travel frequently - I love what you are doing as a company, and having someone who will learn what we want seems like a good partnership.

Our destination specialist was very helpful with planning the trip and was also very responsive. The quality of sightings was overall very good. I was able to see some lions and a rare caracal at Nehimba and the rhino experience at Matobo Hills was amazing. Overall, I was extremely happy and I thank you very much for putting together such a memorable trip.

Hadleigh and Sandra were wonderful guides. They worked phenomenally hard to ensure that everyone had an exceptional experience. They demonstrated deep knowledge of the polar regions. Chris Michel is an expert photographer and a giving teacher. He worked patiently with every participant to enable them to get superb images. There was not another thing that Hadleigh and Sandra could have done to spot more animals. They barely slept during the trip.

We experienced some incredible wildlife sightings on this trip which was aided by our fantastic guides!

Great trip, great little ship and wonderful crew - the midsummer party on the boat deck in the pack ice was brilliant. The food was good throughout, the explanations from the cook were always interesting. Our guides, Ben and Pernille, were great and knowledgeable and obviously knew what they were doing. The flexibility of the small ship approach was good, Zodiac cruises were extended when we found foxes - I don't think the large ships would have done that.

Gemma answered our many questions beautifully. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful. Thank you! We feel very fortunate to have been on this spectacular adventure, with perfect guides (Ben and Pernille), on the ideal ship (M/V Kinfish), with the wonderful Captain Robin and his very friendly crew. Our guides and crew were completely dedicated to working around weather challenges, finding great animal sightings, responding to any individual passenger needs, as well as educating and entertaining us. The trip was truly the trip of a lifetime. I never imagined seeing a bear cross the ice, come to the side of the Kinfish, and look me eye to eye. I never imagined walrus swimming right up to us on the beach. The Kinfish crew, accommodations, food were exceptional. Our guides, Ben and Pernille, are the best I've encountered on any expedition. I would love to travel on the Kinfish with Ben and Pernille again. We were incredibly fortunate to see 7 bears on the first day and each day going forward was just as mind-blowing. Svalbard is a magical place and it was made even more so by the crew's and the guides' passion for the area. I loved the small group, we became friends and have made plans to travel together again. I was a single traveler, but I quickly felt like I was traveling with family.

We received very good service and care which resulted in an excellent trip, we are very happy. Everything was very well organised from the pre-trip service and app to the guides and crew on the Kinfish who were amazing. Small numbers on the trip and a small ship make a huge difference to the feeling of being immersed in the environment.

The guiding and accommodations at the camps were fantastic. The highlight of the trip was Dunia Camp- the staff and guide went above and beyond to anticipate our every need and make us feel welcome. The presence of David Yarrow and Cameron and the comforts of the ship with its crew were the highlights of the trip. The guides did an excellent job.

The communication was very good. Every response was informative and answered the questions. The guides did an awesome job in seeking out not just wildlife but stunning landscapes. I know there had to be so much work by them behind the scenes but they made it all look seamless. At every turn, we were seeing something new and extraordinary. The Crew was also so very accommodating and friendly and handled all logistics with the ship without a hitch. We even continued to have a cold beer and cold soda even when the refrigerator broke, thanks to the pack ice!! The Captains were so flexible in letting us hang out in the Bridge which made all the difference in being able to see so much of the scenery. Overall it was an exceptional and once-in-a-lifetime experience for me.

Very well organized pre-trip preparations from inquiring to booking to planning. Very easy to contact the destination specialists. Arranged airport transfers were seamless. Most importantly, however, the expedition was thoroughly enjoyable. We, the customers felt special and truly cared for. Our expedition guides were fantastic. I loved the intimacy of a small group trip.

I had the most amazing time with NWS in Svalbard; the expedition leaders Mats and Hadleigh were great and got us really close to the wildlife and landscapes - the bear encounters were incredible (close and were able to watch them for literal hours demonstrating all sorts of behaviours), as were the opportunities to see walruses, seals, foxes and all sorts of birdlife. The ship was awesome, the open bridge policy was great and the crew were all lovely to chat to. The regular app updates on flight information, being able to see the travel docs etc. whilst on the boat (i.e. no wifi) was also really useful.

The guidance and accommodation throughout my trip were amazing and were a significant reason for my great trip with NWS. I'd love to travel again so that I can be introduced to even more wild places.

We had a fantastic trip, really enjoyed seeing the scenery and the wildlife sightings were amazing. The guides were good at spotting the wildlife. We were grateful to NWS for co-ordinating the trip, and our time on the boat was wonderful. If we needed a company to put us in contact with local operators again, we would happily talk to NWS.

It was amazing being the first (and only) people at the Kinabatangan Wetlands Resort. It was such an amazing place, I would have liked to stay there another night. We had some wonderful wildlife sightings, including many orangutans in the wild (one on the river bank right in front of our boat), proboscis monkeys crossing the river and a leopard cat and a bush baby on the night drive in BRL!

David worked hard to organize the trip so that it flowed smoothly for me and I had some amazing opportunities to photograph wildlife.

This is a trip of a lifetime so worth spending the extra pennies. We were lucky with the weather and the animal sightings but we would have loved it in most conditions due to the sheer magic of the Arctic. All the team were very efficient and helpful nothing was too much trouble and great fun and we came away with new friends! The Kinfish is the perfect ship for such close encounters with the beauty of the landscape and I believe we all returned a little changed from such a truly memorable experience. Thank you to all involved!

NWS enabled me to gain access to some of the most remote areas of the world and were extremely knowledgeable throughout the whole process.

We wanted the holiday of a lifetime and we got one. Our guides Lauren and Alex were tireless in seeking out and delivering great wildlife encounters, working as a team with Robin and the crew. They ensured that we had a varied and fun itinerary with a good balance of wildlife viewing, experiencing the icy environment and illustrated talks, not to mention the polar plunge and donning survival suits for a polar bear's eye view of the ice floes. Erica's birthday was made memorable with our first polar bear sighting and with champagne, cake and a gift from the crew. And Ben's photographic guidance was appropriate to everyone's skill level (from absolute beginner to wannabe professional) and doubtless helped us come home with some amazing picture memories. A truly memorable visit to a breathtakingly beautiful place.
