Wildlife and waterfalls

In June this year, my wife and I went on safari visiting both the Victoria Falls and Botswana. The trip far exceeded my expectations in all aspects. We started in Victoria Falls where we saw the raw power of nature in the form of the waterfalls. The sunset over the Zambezi River was one the most beautiful sites, I would definitely recommend taking a boat trip down the Zambezi River at sunset.

We then travelled across the border to Botswana, starting in the incredible Chobe National Park. I would highly recommend all the lodges selected on this safari, especially the Ngoma Safari Lodge.

Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was a profound and awe-inspiring experience. Out in the wilds of the African savannah, it was indeed survival of the fittest! The next stop was Shinde Camp in the Okavango Delta. We spent a few days exploring the waterways of the Shinde Concession, where we had some more great wildlife sightings, before moving on to the Moremi Game Reserve. Here we stayed in Okuti Camp, which was in a very scenic location overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon, and again was surrounded by abundant wildlife.
