Accommodation & Facilities
There is a variety of accommodation types available including; longhouses, cottages, a guesthouse and camping grounds. The rooms within the longhouses and guesthouse there each room has an attached bathroom; the cottage has its own private bathroom. The stunning panoramas from each of the rooms in each of the accommodation are stunning with many overlooking Mount Kinabalu itself.
The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a stunning view over Mount Kinabalu. The dishes are a blend of Western and local cuisine, as well as an a la carte menu which is available for dinner. A variety of the dishes are made from the tea leaves which surround the restaurant’s kitchen, including Sabah Tea pancakes and Sabah Tea chicken soup.
There are a wide range of activities available other than taking a tour of the tea gardens and factory. These include archery, batik painting as well as jungle and river trekking. For larger groups there are team building activities, obstacle courses and survival skill training.
Children are welcome at the Sabah Tea Garden; one child under the age of 6 can stay for free when using the existing beds.
