Primate Lodge

About Primate Lodge

Primate Lodge is a mere 5 minute walk to the Kibale Forest National Park Headquarters, making it the ideal lodge for chimpanzee tracking. There are 10 Meru style tents on raised platforms with private verandas, each with en-suite facilities and a small sitting area. They are nicely positioned in the forest for ultimate privacy. The en-suite bungalows range in size each with a small sitting area being situated in the forest which is home to black and white Colobus monkeys and a host of birds.

Primate Lodge is located in the heart of Kibale Forest National Park. It is a comfortable tented camp offering a great base from which to view the range of wildlife in the forest and park and great local hospitality.

One of the highlights of this lodge is that on occasions the Colobus monkeys and chimpanzees can be seen moving through camp!
