Setting
Ideally situated in Serengeti National Park, the camp is accessible via fly-in and transfer.
Accommodation & Facilities
The camp consists of twelve en-suite tents all complete with flushing toilets and hot showers. The tents are all traditionally furnished with throw carpets, desks and queen beds. There is also a larger family tent available which encompasses two bedrooms which is perfect for families with younger children.
Dining
All meals are included during your stay at Serengeti Pioneer camp. Both breakfast and dinner is served in the dining tent at the camp comprising of fresh, natural ingredients and a variety of traditional dishes. Depending upon how you choose to spend your day lunch can be served in camp or out in the bush to ensure that you don’t miss a wildlife spotting opportunity. Breakfast is usually served in a buffet style with a variety of juices, fruits, cereals and pastries available. Both lunch and dinner (when at the camp) will be comprised of three or four dishes- a variety of dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.
Activities
The focus at Serengeti Pioneer Camp is on the stunning wildlife which calls your breath-taking surroundings home. Based in the middle of the Serengeti your location is incredible and there are ample opportunities to explore the plains. If you choose to arrange a private vehicle and guide you are able to embark upon game drives throughout the day and your meals can be arranged around such plans.
Child Policy
Children over the age of 7 are welcome at Serengeti Pioneer Camp. However, it should be noted that children need to be supervised at all time as the camp is unfenced and wildlife can approach the camp at any time.
