A luxury camp with superb access to wildlife viewing.
Located to the east of the Serengeti, Klein’s Camp overlooks the corridor linking the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. The Camp affords awe-inspiring views of the surrounding valleys and hills which, twice a year, are filled with jostling zebra and wildebeest.
Accommodation & Facilities
Luxury stone and thatch cottages with en-suite bathrooms are your home at Klein’s Camp. The ten cottages have whitewashed walls and rich wooden floors which, combined with soft cream furnishings, creates a calm and soothing refuge from the adventures of the day. Each cottage has its own private veranda for constant game viewing.
Facilities at the camp include a large bar/ living area, plunge pool, curio shop, leisure deck and library.
Mouth-watering evening meals are served on china and silver in the open dining area.
Twice daily game drives explore the endless plains of the Serengeti in open 4x4 safari vehicles. When the Great Migration moves through the Klein's Camp area, game drives will concentrate on the massed herds and carnivores that accompany them. Klein’s Camp is also the only lodge in the Serengeti to offer night drives, which allow guests to experience the nocturnal world of the mighty hunters and predators.
Interpretive bush walks are offered in-between morning and afternoon game drives, to explore the sights, smells and sounds of the African bush, accompanied by an armed guide and Maasai tracker.
