Accommodation & Facilities

The Beach House is located in Little Brak, 8 kilometres from Mossel Bay – about a ten minute drive from the main house. This is a very luxurious house, private and secluded with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is also 3 entertainment areas and a large deck – every room has breathtaking rooms.

The 4 uniquely designed cabins on the lake are a five minute drive from the main house, built from alien poplar wood that was removed to make room for endemic bush. With amazing views over the lake, abundant with wildlife, they are fully equipped for your stay at the farm. The cabins are ideal for a family getaway or romantic holiday. Cabins have 2 bedrooms, a bath, shower, lounge, kitchenette, large fireplace and a deck.

At the main house there are huge 5 superior rooms, with full en-suite bathrooms and open air showers. There is also 1 Deluxe Room, 7 Luxury rooms and 3 Standard Rooms, each beautifully designed with fantastic views, some with balconies and views to the mountains, others overlooking the gardens and the plains of Karoo.

At the main house there is also a swimming pool, wine cellar and the scenic grounds of the farm.

The restaurant has an ever-changing menu and can arrange picnics for you if you are out for the day.

There are many opportunities for some fantastic activities in and around the farm. The Beach House lends itself quite nicely to watching whales and dolphins. You can hike or mountain bike around the land, swim in the lake, explore on the back of a 1958 tractor or horseback. Go canoeing on the Olifants River or fishing in an area home to over 162 bird species. There is a private game reserve nearby where you can walk freely amongst the African game or treat yourself to a dip in the pool.

The main, and most popular, activity here is the meerkat tours where you can see these wonderful animals in their natural environment.

Child Policy

Children are welcome and will love the activities, please keep an eye on them near the lake.
