Style
A fenced ‘rest camp’; comfortable and modern, yet you will mainly be left to your own devices.
Setting
In Etosha National Park, beside one of the very few hills in the park.
Accommodation & Facilities
Rooms are split into four categories; Family Chalets (2), Two Bedroom Bush Chalets (10), One Bedroom Bush Chalets (10), Double Rooms (39). Family chalets are spacious with two bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom and there are plenty of amenities, from crockery and cutlery, to tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. There is also a shaded barbecue area outside. Two Bedroom Bush Chalets share a bathroom, with a shower and toilet, and have an open patio with barbecue facilities.
The Onde Bedroom Bush Chalets are quite small and there are no barbecue facilities. The double rooms are the same size as the one bed chalets but with no outside area. All rooms and chalets have air-conditioning, mosquito netting, comfy bedding and amenities, such as shampoo, soap and body lotion.
The main area is signposted and well lit at night; here you will find a restaurant, and a fantastic swimming pool.
Dining
The restaurant is large and set out with individual tables.
Activities
Rest camps did not used to offer activities, however there are now guided morning and afternoon game drives, as well as night drives. Most guests here will be here as part of a self-drive itinerary and can explore Etosha under their own steam.
