Guests stay in spacious thatched roof ‘cases’, pronounced kaaz, each handcrafted by local artisans and nestled into the lush gardens, peppered with coconut trees. This charming and authentic lodge provides all the comforts of home, with a calm and serene atmosphere, ideal for a spot of relaxation before heading out into the wildlife rich reserves.

On the north coast of Madagascar, overlooking the Bay of Antongil, hidden on the edge of Masoala National Park, it is run by a group of responsible and caring individuals and provides unbeatable Malagasy service.

A wonderful eco-lodge, handcrafted and providing serene, calm areas for guests.


Nestled into lush gardens, among the coconut trees of the 7 hectare area, overlooking the Bay of Antongil, 1.5km from Maroantsetra – one of Madagascar’s most authentic towns.

Accommodation & Facilities

Each of the 15 charming bungalows have been handcrafted from rosewood by local artisans, with hard wooden floors and simple décor. Rooms all have 2 king four poster beds, swathed in white mosquito netting.  Rooms are ensuite and all have a private shady veranda.
There is a TV room and swimming pool, as well as a bar offering exotic cocktails. The quality of service here is exceptional, with the staff going out of their way for your happiness and comfort during your stay. The terrace outside the restaurant is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down with the smell of vanilla in the air and a traditional afternoon cup of tea in your hand.


The restaurant is created from wood, open to the lush gardens. Cuisine is based on carefully selected fresh ingredients, all Malagasy.


Explore the flora and fauna of the region with guided walks during the day and night. Or head to the beach from some wonderful snorkelling, or even fishing and whale watching (seasonal). There are also cultural trips that can be organised.
