The elegant Chobe Princesses are situated along the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers. Gently cruising through the tranquil waters, the three luxurious Chobe Princesses each offer four stylish double cabins for guests. A stay aboard one of these safariboats offers excellent game viewing for guests, as well as spectacular views of the surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to experience the incredible array of wildlife which inhabits this area; soak up the warm African temperatures as you spot hippo, buffalo, lion and elephant. You can also take fishing trips, birding trips and walks on Impalila Island.

The Chobe Princesses are located along the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, passing the point where four countries meet; Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia.

Accommodation & Facilities

There are 4 luxury air-conditioned double cabins aboard each of the Chobe Princesses. Each cabin has spectacular views - which are made even more magnificent when taken in from your own private balcony where you can feel the cooling breeze and take in the beautiful setting. The tasteful, contemporary interiors consist of elegant, subtle tones and patterns, and there are large windows which allow the rooms to be bathed in natural light. There are comfortable double or twin beds and modern, clean en-suite bathrooms in each cabin and window screens to protect you from mosquitos.

The lounge and dining areas are decorated equally as stylishly as the cabins, with light airy tones and a classic feel. The dining areas have incredible panoramic views of the surroundings, and the lounge is a sophisticated setting for a refreshing beverage. Each vessel has a sun deck and plunge pool where you can relax in the warm African temperatures. There are also lounge and entertainment areas, as well as a bar and restaurant on every boat.


There are a range of ways to spend your time during your stay on one of these houseboats; just soaking in the incredible setting and spotting the range of wildlife at the water’s edge is a great way to spend your time! A tender boat game drive is a fantastic option for wildlife-lovers and photographers – you’ll get incredible views of animals such as elephant and lion as they come to drink at the riverbanks. Opt for some fishing during season, or enjoy a bird-watching boat trip - birdlife in this area is superb. Guests also have the opportunity to get off the boat for and enjoy a walk on Impalila Island or a day visit to Victoria Falls. There is also the option of visiting local African villages, where you can learn more about the culture.

Activities to enjoy on the houseboats include inspecting the spectacular night sky by star-gazing through the on-board telescopes, relaxing in the bar and lounge areas, reading in the private Reading Rooms or taking a dip in the plunge pools.


You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout your stay. Look out over the stunning surroundings as you enjoy a cooked breakfast, buffet lunch and a la carte menu at dinner. With prior notification, dietary requirements can be catered for.

Child Policy

Children aged 7 and upwards are allowed aboard the houseboats.
